Father & Son Breakaway Retreat (sons ages 7-16)

The Father and Son Breakaway has become a favorite program for Camp Highland. Investing in a father and son relationship has never been so fun and easy. Come and truly break away from an average relationship with your son and your heavenly Father. Most sons are blown away by the fact that dad would dedicate an entire weekend just for them. Experience this weekend of adventure once and it will easily become an annual retreat for you and your son.

A typical weekend consists of structured time (including group adventure races, time spent together with child, and discussion sessions) and unstructured time (open time where our adventure elements, lakefront, and trails are available for use). Dads and children stay together in cabins with twin beds and use our bathhouse.

Fathers are encouraged to bring only one child, however, there is an option to bring a second child on our registration page. Note the $75 additional cost.

Please Read - Important! Please click the "Apply" link below. Within the next few days, we will be processing your application by reviewing the grade and gender availability for this event. At that point, we will notify you of your enrollment status and you will receive an enrollment confirmation email. If there is no availability for the week you applied for, you will be placed on a wait list and then contacted to find out if you would like to chose another week. Also be sure to download and print out the Info Packet below. This packet contains important information, checklists, and driving dirctions.

This is why we have created an account specifically designed with you in mind. Through our Scholarship Program, parents can still send their children to Camp without breaking their wallets! No child should be turned away from Camp because their family cannot afford it. If you find the need for financial assistance then this scholarship is for you. Please register your child/children, and return all confidential forms to information@camphighland.com.
