Highland Day Camp Staff
Highland Day Camp Staff 2012 We are no longer excepting applications for female counselors. However, we are still in need of male counselors, a lifeguard, photographer, videographer. Thanks again for looking at Camp Highland as a place to serve!
Our Counselors should be at least rising 10th graders in high school and go through college-aged, while our Jr. Counselors should be either rising 8th or 9th graders. The application process is the same for both.
Many parents ask if there's anything for those in-between years, where a camper is too old to be a day-camper but yet too young to be summer staff, which would be rising 6th and 7th graders. The resounding answer is, YES! Our overnight camp provides a great environment for those kids to grow in their relationship with God and prepare for the responsibilities of one day being a counselor at Day Camp, or even a counselor at our overnight camp once they've begun college. So, for parents of rising 6th and 7th graders, please visit our summer camp page for more information about our programs there.
Also, for a limited number of rising 7th graders who are also registered as a camper at our overnight camp, and have been a camper at Day Camp in the past, there's the possiblity of being a Counselor in Training (CIT) for a limited number of weeks at Day Camp. Please contact us for details before filling out the application!
